Ancient Greece - part 1

Alina and Cohen have finished studying Ancient Egypt and have moved on to learning about Ancient Greece. The Greek’s idea of beauty was quiet different than ours. My Birthday

I had a really good birthday this year just hanging out with the family. The day before my birthday Wes bought me two rugs for the house. We have a QVC outlet here and they occasionally get rugs in. Wes went by there and saw that they had the rugs 60% off! Wes came and picked me up so I could pick two out. I was so excited! I LOVE them!!!!! Here’s the one for the hallway. It may not look very long in the picture, but it is 12 feet long!

Recipes

Pizza Balls. (yes - I got this recipe off of Pinterest). These were so easy that the kiddos made them. We did pepperoni and cheese. We made them again a couple of week later and used Canadian bacon, pineapple tidbits, and Italian Sausage. Everyone loved them! We dipped them in marinara sauce.

2 cans of biscuits. (I used Great Value). Cut each biscuit into fourths. Use any ingredients that you desire. (We used chopped pepperoni and mozarella cheese). Take 4 pieces of a biscuit and squish/roll the ingredients into it - like you are making a snowball. Place in a muffin tin. Bake at 350 for 15 mins. or until biscuits are done. Dip in Pizza sauce.

Awesome!

I cut this purple cabbage up one night for us to have for dinner. This was the first time I had ever cooked purple cabbage. I was astounded when I cut it open. Look how beautiful it is!

Too bad the flavor didn’t match the beauty.
