So who did we have stay with us this past week? The Abernathy Family!
This recipe is so very easy and so very yummy!
Bake a bought brownie mix (8×8 size package) according to package directions. I chose to cook it in a pie pan. Remove from pan and cool completely. In a sauce pan over med heat melt 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 stick butter. Pour over brownie. At this point you can do several things: 1) top with raspberries 2) cool and top with Cool-Whip and chocolate sprinkles. I’ve done #2 many times in the past but this time I chose to go with the raspberries. Chill.
After serving, some of us topped ours with Redi-Whip. Yummy!!!
We went to our friend Jennifer’s house to pick figs. Jennifer is the CE director at the church we have been attending. The kids really enjoyed seeing her dog.
At the beginning of June Lyndal’s Sunday School class had an end of the year swim party.
The kids camped in our sun room. Wes and I were both amazed at how much fun they had. Aunt Joy had given me some glow-in-the-dark stars a while back. We decided to put them in the sun room for the camping night. The kids thought this was big fun! Lyndal wanted to make Orion’s Belt.
We went to the fountains at Broadway at the Beach with some friends. We wound up staying two hours! That’s the longest we’ve ever stayed. The kids were still going strong and not ready to leave, but the mommies were very ready to leave.
I thought this picture of Eli was cute.
